About the conference
The 3rd International Conference on Computing for Sustainability and Intelligent Future (Comp-SIF 2027) focuses on the intersection of advanced computing technologies and their role in promoting sustainability and shaping an intelligent future. The conference provides an opportunity for researchers, practitioners and industry experts to discuss innovative solutions that leverage computing for sustainable development and intelligent systems.
Comp-SIF concentrates on the convergence of advanced computing, artificial intelligence, intelligent systems and sustainable technologies to address contemporary technological and societal challenges. Prospective authors are invited to submit high-quality, original research papers presenting significant theoretical, empirical, experimental or practical contributions aligned with the conference themes, in the standard IEEE conference template format.
The conference is held at BMS Institute of Technology & Management, Avalahalli, Yelahanka, Bengaluru, India, on 12–13 March 2027.
About the institute
BMS Institute of Technology & Management (BMSITM) is an autonomous institution affiliated to Visvesvaraya Technological University, Belagavi, committed to academic excellence, innovation, research and holistic student development. All eligible undergraduate programmes are accredited by NBA under the Tier-I Scheme (GAPC 4.0), and the institution is accredited by NAAC with an ‘A’ grade (CGPA 3.21). BMSITM has participated in NIRF rankings consistently since 2017, securing positions in the 95–300 band.
The campus hosts state-of-the-art industry-supported laboratories, an AICTE IDEA Lab and MeitY-supported C2S infrastructure. The institute maintains global collaborations with reputed international institutions, has secured over ₹3 crore in research funding, published more than 1,200 indexed research papers, obtained seven Indian patents, incubated five start-ups and received over 100 innovation awards.

Submission, review and publication
These instructions and policies apply to every paper submitted to Comp-SIF 2027.
Paper categories
We solicit original, unpublished work in any of the following three categories. The page limit includes all figures, tables and references.

- Use the official IEEE conference templates for MS Word and LaTeX (IEEE template selector), double column.
- Electronic submissions must be in readable PDF format.
Review process
- All submitted manuscripts undergo mandatory plagiarism screening as per IEEE guidelines.
- Double-blind review is used. Authors must remove names, affiliations, acknowledgements and any identifying information from the manuscript.
- Papers posted on arXiv-like sites will be desk-rejected, as they reveal author identities, which is against double-blind review.
- Self-citations must be written in the third person to avoid revealing identity.
- Papers are evaluated on originality, technical depth, clarity, significance and relevance to the conference scope.
- The author list at the time of submission is final. No reordering, addition or removal of authors is allowed after submission.
- Papers violating formatting, page limits or anonymisation rules will be rejected without review.
- A paper may be moved to the WIP/poster category if it does not meet depth requirements; authors will then have one week to submit a shorter version.
Publication policy
- At least one author of every accepted paper must register for the conference and present it physically.
- Each accepted paper requires a separate registration.
- All accepted and presented papers will be submitted for possible inclusion into IEEE Xplore, subject to meeting IEEE Xplore’s scope and quality requirements.
- Accepted papers require a signed copyright transfer agreement as per IEEE policy.
