AICTE IDEA Lab

The AICTE IDEA (Idea Development, Evaluation & Application) Lab is an initiative of the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE) to foster innovation, creativity, and hands-on learning among students and faculty. The lab provides a dedicated space equipped with modern tools and technologies to transform ideas into working prototypes and real-world solutions.

The IDEA Lab encourages learning by doing, promotes interdisciplinary collaboration, and nurtures an entrepreneurial mindset aligned with national initiatives such as Atmanirbhar Bharat and Make in India.

The of IDEA Lab is to provide all facilities for students and faculties under one roof to convert their idea into prototype. The IDEA Lab facilities encourage the students and faculty members to get training on innovation and creative thinking, problem solving, collaboration etc.

IDEA Lab can empower the students and faculty to “engage, explore, experience, express and excel”, addressing the need for new-age learning. IDEA Lab would serve as an infrastructure for faculty to take up and promote multidisciplinary education and research. Accordingly, faculty would be encouraged to train in these Labs and strive to create problems/ projects/ internships in their subjects/ disciplines and mentor the students.
