COURSE OVERVIEW

The Department of MBA started in the year 2022 with a prime objective to bestow Quality Management Education. The Department is enriched with team of qualified and experienced faculty members who are committed to offer best management education though structured curriculum and through various value-added programmes such as series of guest lectures, seminars, workshops, case-based learning, course assignments, industry interaction to bridge the gap between industry and academia. The students will be equipped with managerial, leadership and entrepreneurial skills to address the challenges in society and the corporate world through innovation. The Department provides placement assistance and trains students to make them corporate ready.

Our Departmental Pedagogy with strong BoS and BoE members imparts and inculcate knowledge to the students through unique methodology Lectures with Case Studies, Problem Solving, Live Projects / Assignments / Training Role Plays, Sports & Cultural Activities, Industrial Visits, Training and other supporting techniques.

Driving Innovation Through Research and Real-World Impact.

The Department of MBA at BMSIT&M has a vibrant research culture to explore and discover new practices in the field of management studies, social science and others. Faculty has been continuously publishing in many renowned ABDC/Scopus and other international and national Journals. In the last 3 years more than 20 research papers have been published by Faculty members. Faculty members have also authored several books and book chapters. They have also presented papers at several international and national conferences at IIM, IIT and various other esteemed institutions. Department of MBA has been striving to inculcate Research in its students also. Research validates learning outcomes with a greater understanding of its relevance to their careers. Research expands knowledge and understanding of the specialization outside the classroom. Research articles foster analytical skills and critical thinking through hands on learning. Faculty members are encouraged to do research projects with students. BMSIT&M students have published research papers on their own and in collaboration with their faculty mentors.
