Dr. Santhi Natarajan is currently an Associate Professor in the Dept of Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning, BMS Institute of Technology and Management, Bangalore, VTU. She heads research projects in the field of RadioGenomics, Autonomous Vehicle Technology and Precision Nutrition, focusing on developing parallel algorithms based on principles of Machine Learning and Artificial Intelligence. She has strong expertise in the field of high performance computing, reconfigurable computing, embedded design and genome informatics. She is involved in the design and development of domain specific hardware accelerators for massively parallel multi-core coarse and fine-grained reconfigurable platforms. She has received her PhD from Indian Institute of Science, Bangalore, where she is focused on building business and technical team ramp-up in ReneLife, a technology start-up, launched in June 2016, as a faculty enterprise of the Indian Institute of Science, in the area of Life Sciences.
